Winland Electronics Waterbug Integrated Sensor WB-100

This battery power device does not play MP3 tunes, but it does have an audible alarm output. The alarm sounds when a film of water bridges the contacts of the unit’s integrated electronic sensor. However, condensation or high humidity will not cause the sensor to trigger the alarm. Operating from a 9V battery that lasts about one year, the unit also provides an audible low battery “chirp” to warn of a low-battery condition. Typical applications include basement sump pumps, drain areas and sprinkler systems in residential homes, as well as commercial buildings.
