Free January webinar on REACH chemicals

On Tuesday, January 19 at 10:00 a.m. EST, Intertek - a quality and safety services firm - will present a free one-hour webinar that will offer an update of recent changes to the REACH list of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) as well as an overview of the compliance requirements.

A SVHC is a chemical substance that is subject to requirements under the European Union’s REACH (Registration Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals) regulation. On December 7, 2009, the European Chemicals Agency added 15 additional substances to the SVHC candidate list to make a total of 30 substances. The new list will be formally activated in January.
