Avnet Strengthens Focus on IP&E with New Executive Appointment

ELECTRONICS: The Avnet Electronics Marketing, Americas business region of Avnet, Inc. announced the appointment of Steve Boysen as senior vice president, director of interconnect, passive and electromechanical (IP&E) strategic sales.

Most recently serving as vice president of supply chain services in the Americas for Avnet Electronics Marketing, Boysen brings over 26 years of industry experience to the position; he joined the Avnet team in 2001 as a result of the Kent acquisition. In this new role, Boysen will be responsible for leading IP&E sales efforts for the Americas region, and will report to Chuck Delph, senior vice president of sales, Avnet Electronics Marketing, Americas.
