The first, CATDADS 9.0 for design simulation embedded in CATIA(reg) from IBM, includes a CATIA Elfini interface for flexible mechanical body simulation, supported on Unix platforms. The second release is DADS version 9.0 available for Unix and Windows NT platforms. DAD 9.0 allows engineers to quickly assemble, analyze, and animate real-world behavior of dynamic mechanical systems on their desktop.
