This company says that its Clarex(R)Non-Glare (AG) optical quality acrylic sheets have a fine surface etching which reduces glare on electronic display panels. Sheets are available in stock and custom sizing, two different hardness grades, and in thicknesses from 0.2 to 5 mm. Applications include electronic display panels such as cell phones, notebook computers, video cameras, marine and automotive electronics, and avionics.

Polymer components

This company says aircraft manufacturers have found that its PEEK polymer components are lightweight and cost effective replacements for aluminum. The PEEK 450GL30, a 30% glass-filled composite, used in cable clips and conduits, is said to have high strength and resistance to fire and chemicals. The 30% carbon fiber-filled PEEK 450CA30 replaces aluminum retainers in luggage racks.
