Bonding

Polyflex(R)136 is a single coated, heavy-duty polyethylene film for general purpose bonding applications. This low residue, pressure sensitive rubber adhesive film bonds well to most surfaces over a wide range of temperatures, and is intended to be an alternative to duct tape. It features a permanently tacky rubber adhesive that maintains a watertight seal in all weather conditions and offers low-temperature bonding capabilities. Available in a range of colors.

Quick-curing epoxies

This company's epoxy adhesives are formulated to bond rigid, durable substrates, such as metals, glass, ceramics, concrete, and wood in all possible combinations. They cure at room temperature to a hard, clear bond within minutes of application. Because they are nonshrinking, they are recommended for sealing compounds. Application is done with dispensers that preserve unused adhesive for the next application.

Interconnect

For sensors and actuators in industrial automation, the VarioQuick(R)interconnect utilizes Conductor Displacement Interconnect (CDI) technology that makes assembly possible without users having to solder, crimp, tighten screws, or use special tools. The technician simply strips the cable, inserts the individual strands into their corresponding color-coded sections of the strand-holder, and twists. VarioQuick also makes it almost impossible for mistakes in polarity to occur, by color-coding connectors in accordance with EN 50 044.

Terminal block headers

The ELFH pluggable, high-temperature through-hole terminal blocks are designed to maximize production by eliminating costly secondary solder operations. By utilizing high-temperature plastics, the new ELFH header family can withstand the rigors of IR, vapor phase, or convection reflow processing, therefore eliminating the need for expensive separate wave soldering of the through-hole header. The headers provide an industry-standard connector interface and mate to all PCD ELF style terminal block plugs.
