A wide range of packaging has just gone green. Smart Planet Technologies of Irvine, CA has released a number of green solutions for packaging, displays and signage. Smart Planet's products are designed to conserve natural resources and provide high-quality environmental alternatives to a number of rigid, flexible and corrugated packaging and signage applications.
Here are some of Smart Planet's patent-pending products:
- EarthBoard: a composite boxboard created for use in folding cartons and boxes. Smart Planet says the EarthBoard composite technology upgrades the print surface of recycled fiberboards for use in premium carton applications that previously required virgin fiberboard made from trees.
- StoneFlex: a composite solution designed to reduce the use of plastics in pouches, sacks and other flexible applications.
- EarthLiner: designed to be an eco-friendly solution for barrier linings in corrugated packaging.
- EarthDisplay: water-resistant packaging and signage applications designed to provide a durable solution for temporary point-of-purchase displays and signage projects.
