LM76's Self Lubricating Bearings

LM76 says its self lubricating, sintered bronzeand power metal alloy plain bearings feature high precision, high load capacity(to 1422 lbs/sq.in.), high speed ( to 30,000 rpm), high temperature (over 1000F),low coefficient of friction (0.04) and low noise. Available in inch sizes (0.250 in. to 2.500in. ID x 2.000 in. long) and metric sizes (2 mm to 100 mm ID x 120 mm long)these bearings are useful in appliances such as washing machines, exerciseequipment, portable machine tools, toys, motors and automotive equipment suchas alternators.

LM76 says because of the low coefficient offriction these bearings show no wear after thousands of hours of use. Standard inch and metric cylindrical andflanged oil impregnated bearings are typically shipped from stock, custombearings (ID, OD, flange size and length) can be ordered as well as specialpurpose alloys. Alloys include: sinteredbronze, iron sintered bronze, Paralite(non-migrating lubricant) andTriboloy (chromium, nickel, cobalt alloy for temperatures over 1000^OF). Triboloysinteredbearings are resistant to corrosion,erosion, abrasion and galling,and even at high temperatures they are resistant to oxidation.
