South Bend Controls' Diaphragm Valves Molded Of High Performance Plastics

Valve bodies molded of high-performance plastics by Minnesota Rubber and Plastics (MR&P) forSouth Bend Controls LLCare biocompatible to FDA and USP Class VI standards and perform well in hightemperature and corrosive environments.

Applications include medical equipment, clinicalinstrumentation, food processing, beverage dispensing and most other forms offlow control.

These 2-way and 3-way valves have wetted surfaces moldedentirely of engineered, high-performance materials such as PEEK, Ultem(R),Radel(R), Viton(R)-GF with FDA and UPS class VI approval. The valves withstandchemical attack by corrosive and biological fluids while remaining inert andmaintaining the integrity of the fluid pathway.

The valves pictured are for a dialysis application andare configured to provide high flow with an exceptionally high tolerance toparticulate matter and precipitates. Poppets and seats are configured toprovide bubble-tight leakage characteristics.
