Valve bodies molded of high-performance plastics by Minnesota Rubber and Plastics (MR&P) for
South Bend Controls LLC
are biocompatible to FDA and USP Class VI standards and perform well in high
temperature and corrosive environments.
Applications include medical equipment, clinical
instrumentation, food processing, beverage dispensing and most other forms of
flow control.
These 2-way and 3-way valves have wetted surfaces molded
entirely of engineered, high-performance materials such as PEEK, Ultem(R),
Radel(R), Viton(R)-GF with FDA and UPS class VI approval. The valves withstand
chemical attack by corrosive and biological fluids while remaining inert and
maintaining the integrity of the fluid pathway.
The valves pictured are for a dialysis application and
are configured to provide high flow with an exceptionally high tolerance to
particulate matter and precipitates. Poppets and seats are configured to
provide bubble-tight leakage characteristics.
