Loctite Structural Acrylic Adhesives

Henkel Corp.'s two new Loctite Structural AcrylicAdhesives are formulated to fixture in five to 20 mins and deliver peel andshear strength once cured. Loctite H8100 and H8110 Speedbonder StructuralAdhesives provide tough, long-lasting bonds and are designed to reduce oreliminate welds, rivets and threaded fasteners.

Both Loctite H8100 and Loctite H8110 SpeedbonderStructural Adhesives are green-colored, two-component acrylic adhesives thatcure rapidly at room temperature. Loctite H8100 fixtures in 20 mins, whileLoctite H8110 offers ultra-fast fixturing in five mins. Both adhesives featureglass spacer beads that maximize toughness and prevent adhesive from squeezingout of the joint during clamping. These products are available in 50 and490 ml dual cartridges.

These structural adhesives provide shear strengths similarto overlap welds and are stronger than spot welds and rivets. They can be usedin the assembly of agricultural/construction equipment, specialty vehicles,appliances, signage, tubs/spas, building components and other industrialbonding applications.
