Encapsulated cartridges

Presto(R)Encapsulated Cartridges simplify air system assembly because they are designed for simple installation into a single diameter soft metal or thermoplastic cavity without using special tools. A "positive stop" shoulder keeps the cartridge from being pushed too far into the cavity. The cartridges are available with color-coded release buttons to match the company's Parflex(R)J844 tubing to eliminate assembly errors. Available in 1/8 through 1/2 inch OD, they accept nylon, Polyethylene, Polyurethane, and soft metal tubing.

Ugly tape

Arclad(R)516, "Ugly Tape," is an amber-colored, conformable, tough tape that is formulated to eliminate challenging splicing problems. A high-tack, double-coated flying splice tape, it has an aggressive, quick-stick adhesive for splicing difficult substrates such as clay-coated or polycoated board and some silicone release liners. Also recommended for polyethylene, polypropylene, plastic and high-slip film, rigid vinyl, cloth, non-wovens, rubber, steel, aluminum, and specialty papers and boards.

Workholding

Cable management

Micro quick-disconnect couplers

These couplers can be connected without tools and are intended for applications in air, water, and oil. They come with an automatic shut-off valve, and pre-applied thread sealant on NPT components. They have an OD of only 0.375 inches, which makes them lightweight and compact for ultra-small applications. Chrome-plated brass bodies give resistance to corrosion. Configurations are available with a 5/32-inch push-to-connect port.
