We grouped the Inc. list of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the US in the discipline of engineering, specifically manufacturers. The engineering category was impressive with its median growth of 151%, total revenues of $1.8 billion, and contributions of over 4,048 jobs.

The list of Inc. magazine’s fastest-growing private manufacturing firms demonstrates a wide range of opportunities for engineers. Some of these companies are working with NASA, while others are building power plants or manufacturing facilities. Whatever your career dream, you’re likely going to find a company on this list that’s doing extraordinary work in that area. Page through this gallery of companies, and you’ll see plenty of opportunities, whether it’s taking sustainable materials into consumer-packaged goods or working on systems to improve US defense.

One of these firms is developing ballast water treatment systems on ocean-going ships to prevent the transfer of invasive species., while another provides infrastructure and manufacturing for the beer industry. Another provides engineering, manufacturing, IT, and logistics to the defense, aerospace, and industrial markets.

We took the Inc. list of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the US – Inc. 5000 2020 – and we selected the top companies in the discipline of engineering, and for this list, specifically manufacturers.

The Inc. list is grouped by industry, including engineering, manufacturing, transportation, and others. The engineering category was impressive with its median growth of 151%, total revenues of $1.8 billion, and contributions of over 4,048 jobs, according to Inc.
