NXP Semiconductors has new radar sensor chipset solutions to help give cars 360 degrees of sensor vision, while Sick's new compact 2D lidar sensor can scan 240 degrees around the car to provide collision avoidance capability.

Meanwhile, Pinnacle Imaging System's new Denali image processors can scan imagery from optical cameras to provide automated vehicles with more detailed information about objects around the car.
