Pepperl+Fuchs'EVM58 Ethernet IP Encoders are available in single or multi-turnconfigurations. These rotaryencoders provide accurate absolute machine position or velocityfeedback to the system controller via an industry-standard Ethernet/IPinterface. EthernetIP Encoders are also compatible with a variety of PLC controllers,including industry-standard PLC products from Rockwell Automation, AllenBradley and Schneider, making them useful for materialhandling, automotiveand general factoryautomation applications.

Ethernet IP Encoders come in standard 58 mmdiameter housings, with a solid10 mm shaft and clamping flange design. Diagnostic LEDs provide visual statusindication to help users quickly correct problems and keep machines up andrunning. M12 d-coded connectors simplify operation and are used to power, andfacilitate communication to and from, the encoder. Ethernet IP Encoders can be used with cable pull devices to determine linearposition feedback and transmit that feedback back to the controller.
