TDK-Lambda's single-output ZWS-BAFseries are 100 and150W supplies accept a wide ac inputrange, have a low profile of 1.3 to 1.45 inches and compact footprints of 2.44x 6.1 inch or 3 x 6.3 inch, making them an option forapplications in light industrial, LED signage, test & measurement, gaming,point-of-sale and IT equipment.

These new open-frame supplies feature a universal 85-264Vac, 47-63Hz input, with PFC, enabling them to be used anywhere in the world and can operate from a 120-370V dcinput. The ZWS-BAFis designed to withstand 3kV ac, input-to-output. The series are available withan output voltage of 3.3, 5, 12, 15, 24V or 48V dc, all of which have a +/-10percent adjustment range.

With convection cooling (no fans required) thesesupplies provide up to 150W of output power. The operating temperature range is from -10 to +70C with derating above50C to 50 percent load. The output is floating so it can be used as either apositive or negative polarity.

Optional remote On/Off connectionsare provided to allow for remote control of the supply. The operating power-savingefficiency is up to 90 percent. Other standard features include overvoltage andovercurrent protections. The input and output connections mate with standard JST connectors.

The ZWS-BAFseries is an extension of the ZWS series.

The ZWS-BAF series featureglobal ITE and general purpose safety agency certifications per UL/CSA/EN60950-1,EN50178 (OV II), are CE Marked, meet the conducted and radiated EMIrequirements of EN55011/EN55022-B, VCCI-B and FCC Class B.
