Coded Switch for Rugged Applications

Elma Electronic's M07A is a gray codedswitch that comes in 16 positions down to 2. BCD or Hex versions are availableupon request. Based on Elma's Type 07 switch line, the rugged M07A has astainless-steel 6 mm tapped shaft (3mm versions optional). It meetsMIL-STD-810F for salt fog and humidity and MIL-STD-202G for shock and vibration.The M07A also features a high-strength re-enforced plastic body and IP60 orIP68 front panel sealing, at the customer's request.

TheM07A is offered in THTor reflow (upon request) versions and with an end-stop design or endlessly rotating.It also allows various position and coding choices, shaft styles and lengths,as well as customization options. Utilizing gold plated contacts and anickel-plated bushing, this long life switch performs a minimum of 10,000rotational cycles. A rotational cycle is specified as a complete rotation fromposition 1 to the last position, and back again. It has up to 4 Ncmswitching torque and the operating temperature range is -40 to +85C.

Elma'sM07A is designed for use in rugged military/aerospace, portable medical,industrial automation, vision/imaging and mobile PC applications.
