Dept. of Energy Names 14 EVs with 300 Miles of Range

The list has grown rapidly since the first 300-mile EV debuted in 2016.

The U.S. Dept. of Energy announced that for model year 2022, the Environmental Protection Agency’s certified driving range of 300 or more miles was achieved by 14 different EVs.

That compares to only five 300-mile EVs for 2021 and a single such vehicle starting in 2016.
