The West Coast’s largest manufacturing trade show, IME West, highlighted advanced engineering and manufacturing and more February 7-9 at the Anaheim Convention Center. The event featured Design & Manufacturing (D&M) WestMedical Design & Manufacturing (MDM) WestAutomation Technology (ATX) WestPlastec West, and WestPack as well as several educational sessions and workshops.

Here are a few scenes from the show exploring the latest in engineering and manufacturing:

Brent Hahn, VP business development, Isometric Micro Molding Inc., presented a few different micro part manufacturing options in the Medtech Theater session, “A Comparison for Micro Applications: 3D Printed Parts, Parts Molded from 3D Printed Mold Inserts, and Parts Molded from Traditional Steel Molds.” Design News Editor Daphne Allen caught up with him after the session:
