LCD panel heat protection

Duralan II Heat Shield(TM) display filter windows are designed to provide protection from heat generated by infrared light. A special film is laminated with other plastic materials. The combination of materials reflects infrared light instead of letting it pass through the filter. At the same time, visible light is easily transmitted through the filter, enabling the display to be clearly viewed. They can also be constructed to provide EMI/RFI protection.
