Air bearing system

NEAT AirBeam enclosed linear motor-driven air bearing system combines linear servomotor technology and an ultra-smooth air-bearing way in a single structural beam. The system is for use in computer-to-plate systems, photoplotter, wafer scanning systems, and factory automation applications. The linear motor and modular, serviceable moving cable set are mounted inside the main beam, minimizing particulate generation. The integral NEAT linear motor allows carriage speeds of up to 2m/sec and accelerations to 1G.
