Oscilloscope/analyzer

The combined oscilloscope/analyzer is designed to make complex compliance measurements in the shortest amount of time possible, eliminating the need to learn cumbersome compliance test procedures. Reportedly, compliance measurements that once required many steps can now be performed in a single step. The device has industry-standard filters, which allow digital test engineers to switch from compliance testing to wide-bandwidth analysis in seconds.

Moisture monitor

Unlike conventional oil monitoring, which measures moisture in parts per million, Hydrolert(TM) continuously monitors saturated relative humidity (SRH) and warns if the lubricant reaches 70% SRH, a point before free water occurs and damage can begin. By detecting potential lubricant failures before they create problems, the monitor can extend equipment life. Hydrolert is made of corrosion-resistant polymers, mounts by threading onto equipment openings, and is battery powered.

Gaseous metering valve

This new, low cost version of the company's 2-way Servoid(R)proportional valve reportedly offers infinitely variable flow control with repeatability and precise accuracy over the full control range. Configurations range in flow capacity from 0 to 1000 (liter)pm. Flow rate is proportional to the magnitude of the electrical current supplied to the valve. Linearity is consistent, valve to valve. The valve is most commonly used in gaseous fuel control applications for commercial engines.

Thermoelectric controller

The Module 5C7-361 Thermoelectric Module Controller is a unique bi-directional control for solid-state thermoelectric modules used for both heating and cooling applications. The device employs an "H" bridge arrangement of solid-state MOSFET devices which are capable of up to 24 amperes of load current at maximum efficiency. The controller is PC programmable via an RS485 communication port, which is 150V ac isolated from all other electronic circuitry, minimizing interference from noise or errant signals.

Micro pitch probe

The Micro Pitch Probe for device test of 1 mm pitch and below features a short signal path of 4.75 mm. The self-inductance is less than 1 nH and the contact resistance is less than 70 milliohms. It is double ended, allowing the DUT board pattern to be a mirror image of the device. The self-cleaning, 4-point crown tip contacts the ball on the perimeter. This leaves the center area of the package lead untouched.

Disc balance checker

The DUC-10 Disc Balance Checker offers speedy measurement of CD-DA, CD-R, DVD, and other disc devices that require dynamic balance accuracy in order to achieve high-speed reading. It measures to plus or minus .2 gmm and assures compliance with CD and DVD standards. According to the manufacturer, its dual shock and vibration-proof body stands up to production-line vibration and shrugs off normal operational "bumps," ensuring reliable and consistent performance.

Commercial gauges

Ashcroft(R)direct drive gauges are designed to be four times more shock resistant than conventional gauges. And since they have no gears to wear out, they have high durability and calibration, the company says. These gauges offer ASME B40.1 Grade B accuracy, and are available in 40 mm and 50 mm back connect only.

Magnetic flowmeter

The MT-PIT Series of magnetic flowmeters measures flow of liquids in line sizes 1 to 120 inches or more. This design could be cost- effective on large lines because one meter fits most line sizes. The standard meter is flange mounted on the side of the pipe: optional configurations allow installation and removal without shutdown. This meter has no moving parts and is constructed to be submersible per IP68. The converter offers a 4 to 20 mA signal.

Emulator

The 8250 Cable Network & Interference Emulator is reportedly the first product of its kind to emulate critical hybrid fiber/coax (HFC) cable network impairments in a controllable laboratory instrument. It emulates both upstream (5-42 MHz) and downstream (50-860 MHz) HFC channel characteristics in a single, integrated instrument. Impairments emulated include amplitude tilt, intermodulation distortion, group delay distortion, and noise and interference.
