Standards publication in China limited to state-run presses

The Chinese government has declared that its Standards Press of China has exclusive permission to publish and issue formal internation-al documents. Included in such documents are standards and technical reports from ISO and the International Electrotechnical Commission. Anyone else attempting, without special permission, to publish in China any part of a standard for profit will be punished, according to the mandate.
