Sensirion's Digital Humidity Sensor

TheSHT25 measures relativehumidity over a range of 0 to 100 percent RH and temperature over a range of-40 to +125C. It achieves a typical accuracy of 1.8 percent RH (at 25C) forrelative humidity and 0.2C for temperature. For both quantities, the typical tolerance is small even atthe limits of the measuring range.

Themaximum tolerance is 2 percentrelative humidity or 0.3C over a wide range. Sensirion says this enables the new SHT25 to achievesignificantly better accuracy, especially for temperature measurements.

TheSHT25 is fully calibrated and exactly matches the other specifications of theSHT21 version. Among other things, the reflow-solderable SHT25 has an I2Cinterface and features outstandingstability along with low power consumption. Like the SHT21, the new version isavailable on tape & reel. A comprehensive quality management system andindividual sensor tracking data round out the features of the SHT25.

The start of regular production is plannedfor December 2010.
