Freescale Invites Engineers To Enter Sensor Video Contest

If you believe you can make the world better a better place with sensors, here’s your chance to prove it.

            Freescale Semiconductor is inviting engineers to submit a video demonstrating a revolutionary way in which its acceleration, pressure or touch sensors can be applied to any market, ranging from consumer and industrial to medical and automotive. Known as How Do You Make Sense of the World?, the contest invites entrants to submit videos of three minutes or less to Freescale’s Facebook page or upload them to Freescale’s YouTube page.

            The contest’s Grand Prize winner will pull down $10,000. Second and third place finishers will be awarded $3,000 and $2,000, respectively.

            Entries will be accepted through November 5, 2010.
