FKDK 14 Contrast Sensors

Baumer's FKDK 14contrast sensors are for print mark detection and are useful in packaging andprinting machines. Utilizing white light as the light source, the FKDK 14series can detect print marks of all colors, even with slight contrast to thebackground. Optimized for high throughput speed, the new contrast sensoroffers a response time down to 50 mu. This allows short throughput times to beachieved. The contrast sensor is very compact and can be integrated into anymachine. The 2-point teach-in procedure can also be conducted during process.

The switching status is indicated with an LED, which isvisible through the transparent housing base of the contrast scanner.

The FKDK 14 is suited for applications in packaging and graphicmachinery. Providing a solution for print mark or printing plate detection, theFKDK 14 diffuse contrast sensor combines short response time and a compacthousing with the white light source.
