ON Semiconductor's Range of VCXO Clock Modules

TheNBVSPAXXX range ofVCXO clock modulesare designed to satisfy the exacting requirements set by modern 3.3V low-voltage differentialsignaling clockgeneration applications. Targeted for use in communications infrastructure suchas network routers, switches, servers, and base stations, these highperformance devices utilize a high Q fundamental mode pull-able crystal andphase locked loop (PLL) multiplier to provide all industry standard outputclock frequencies.

Frequencies supported are 156.25 MHz for the NBVSPA017device, 155.52 MHz for the NBVSPA018, 125.00 MHz for the NBVSPA019, 160.00 MHzfor the NBVSPA024, 148.50 MHz for the NBVSPA027, and 74.25 MHz for theNBVSPA042.Custom frequency versions are also available on request, covering frequenciesfrom 60 to 700 MHz.

Thenew devices have a pull-able range of A plus or minus 100 ppm, an orderable frequencystability of A plus or minus 50 ppm and a typical jitter of just 0.5 ps across the 12 kHz to20 MHz frequency range. They have a typical output rise time (20 to 80 percent) of 245 ps.

TheVCXOs in NBVSXXXXX range are fully compliant with the MIL-STD-833 standard interms of shock, vibration and thermal ruggedness. Each device has an industrialoperating temperature range of -40 to +85C.

TheNBVSPA017, NBVSPA018, NBVSPA019, NBVSPA027 and NBVSPA042 areoffered in a Pb-free, hermetically sealed, 5.0 x 7.0 x 1.8 mm CLCC-6 package.They are priced at $5.70 per unit in 10,000 unit quantities.
