Newest model runs five times as fast

The company's newest robot controller, the RC7M, can process programs five times as fast as the previous RC5 model. It is only 440 x 425 x 157.5 mm, and weighs less than 50 lb. It works on 100 Base-T Ethernet, USB, RS-232C, Mini Parallel I/O, and other communications systems, while DeviceNet, Profibus and Parallel I/O ports are optional. It can fit up to 10,000 programming steps and 30,000 teach points in its 3.25 MB memory, which is upgradeable to 5.5 MB. It can work worldwide, compliant with current ISO, ANSI and CE safety standards. Accessories include a 7.5-inch color touchscreen teaching pendant and a 128x64-pixel LCD display minipendant, plus DENSO's own WINCAPS II 3-D simulation software for offline programming and real-time remote robot operation monitoring.
