Mold release

XTEND 19SAM is a semi-permanent mold release developed for use with cast polymer and solid surface production. The reactive resin solution is said to crosslink and cure on the mold surface to produce a durable release coating which reportedly withstands the abrasion of highly filled resins as well as the rigors of solid surface processing. It is said to cure quickly at ambient temperature and does not require polishing.

Conductive polymers

This company has introduced commercially available thermoplastic compounds which contain Inherently Conducting Polymers. The products are available in polyethylene and polypropylene, and are said to maintain the properties of the host polymer. They reportedly achieve electrical conductivity with little effect on shrink rate, specific gravity, and other mechanical properties.

Plastic clarifier

MILLAD(R) 3988 is a clarifying agent for polypropylene which is said to produce a clearer finished product. The material is designed to be pre-compounded with Exxon ACHIEVE? Propylene Polymer 1635, which is then blended with Exxon EXACT(R) 0203 metallocene polyethylene and the company's ClearTint(R) colorant.

Gap filler pad

Sarcon GR-N is a gap filler pad designed for use as a heat dissipator in high power/ high speed electronic equipment. The product is said to provide thermal conductivity of 7.9 W/mk with a thermal resistance of 0.02C in 2/W, and is said to be as soft and conformable as competing products, allowing it to be highly effective in filling air gaps in uneven surfaces.

Polyester tape

1351 Polyester Film Tape is an electrically insulating tape with an acrylic adhesive which is said to be flame-retardant and pressure sensitive. The tape has a reported 130C temperature rating, and is said to offer excellent flagging resistance and solvent resistance.
