Power MOSFET for Automotive Modules

ON Semiconductor's six new AEC-Q101qualified logic level, single channel,power MOSFETs for automotive module in small, flat lead packages are offered in a 5 x6 mm SO-8FL package and a 3.3 x 3.3 mm WDFN-8 package. These devices use 50percent or less of the footprint of DPAK packages and offer the same or lowera euro ~on' resistance and are available with combinations of 30, 40 and 60V, N and Pchannel devices. Very low on resistance [RDS(on)] minimizes conduction andcurrent capabilities range from 6.3 to 65A depending on device. AEC-Q101qualification underlines suitability for automotive applications.

The devices save board space versus established DPAK packaged parts andare useful for load switching, dc-dc conversion, and power management inautomotive applications such as fuel injection systems and motor controldrivers.

The NVMFS4841N (30V, 65A, single N-channel)device is housed in an SO-8FL package, while the NVTFS4823NNVTFS5116P(30V, 30A, single N-channel), L (60V, 14A, singleP-channel), NVTFS5811NL (40V, 40A, single N-channel)and NVTFS5826NL (60V, 20A, single N-channel),and NVTFS5820NL (60V, 29A, single N-channel)are offered in WDFN-8 packages.
