MicroPower Direct's A300RU Series of Compact 3W DC/DC Converters

ELECTRONICS:  MicroPower Direct’s A300RU series family of compact 3W dc/dc converters includes high performance features:  an ultra-wide 4:1 input range, single and dual outputs, tight regulation and low noise operation.Twelve models operate from wide 4:1 inputs of 9 to 36 or 18 to 75V dc; providing outputs of 3.3, 5, 12, 15, ±12, or ±15V dc. Standard features include efficiency to 84 percent; tight line/load regulation of ±1 percent; an input/output isolation of 1,500V dc; and an compliance to EN55022. All models have output power protection and continuous short circuit protection (with autorecovery). The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) of the A300RU series is greater than 1,000 khours.

The A300RU family is packaged in an compact 1.25 x 0.80 x 0.40 inch, 24 pin DIP compatible case. The pin-out is industry standard. Each model is specified for operation over the wide temperature range of -40 to 70C ambient. Cooling is by free-air convection.

The A300RU series is an ideal choice for a variety of board level applications requiring compact size, a wide input range, and tight output regulation. Suitable applications would include telecomm/datacomm systems, test instrumentation, process control systems and board level power distribution subsystems.
