Proportional valve

The 10% Proportional Valve Series for close-loop pressure control applications uses a specialized spool configuration. This design allows the valves in the line to perform open-loop speed control and close-loop pressure control without a servovalve. Implementation is simplified with the use of an integrated electronic package. The 10% valve series reportedly also works well with the associated line of close-loop pressure control cards.

Integrated actuator

GS40 is the latest addition to this company's GS series inverted roller screw actuators. The actuators are said to eliminate the need to assemble a working unit from an actuator, motor, screw, or bearing, which is said to speed setup and installation. The product is in a 4-inch frame size, offers strokes from 6 to 18 inches, continuous force ratings up to 1,800 lbs., and linear velocity up to 25 inches/sec.

Diaphragm valve

DV22 microvolume diaphragm valves are designed to provide trouble-free use in applications requiring minimal maintenance and maximum service life in applications such as processing, automated lab analyzers, and continuous-monitoring environmental analyses. The product is available in three configurations: a 4-port internal-loop sample injector, a 6- port external-loop sampling/switching valve, and a 10-port multifunctional diaphragm valve.

Flow regulator

MK130 self-powered flow regulator is designed to secure a constant flow of upstream or downstream pressure variations, and is said to operate without receiving energy or steering impulses from any external devices. Body material choices include bronze, stainless steel, or Delrin(R), while applications include the controlling of volume of oil, lubrication, liquids for irrigation, or regulating the bleeding of filters.

Ball valves

G4000-M1 Predator series flanged ball valves incorporate a 125 psi steam rating. These flanged cast-iron ball valves feature quarter-turn technology, Teflon seats that provide positive leak-proof shutoff, stainless-steel ball and stem, and full-port ball valve performance. This valve line has the same face-to-face dimensions as an ANSI B16.10 flanged gate valve, which makes it useful in retrofit applications.

Variable volume pumps

This company's LPV series variable volume pumps are designed to replace conventional syringe and peristaltic pumps. The product is said to offer the same accuracy and precision in a smaller and lighter package. Features include variable dispense volume which allows for greater system flexibility, and a bipolar stepper motor which is said to produce precise and accurate dispensing and aspiration.

Check valves

At only 3 psi cracking pressure, in-line check valves function well in syringe pump and vacuum systems. Once connected to any 1/4-28 flat-bottom port, the spring-actuated sealing system eliminates back flow. This prevents upstream contamination or damage. The check valve's design also eliminates the need for extra tubing cuts and connections.

Low flow flowmeters

Tricklemeter(R) series low-flow flowmeters are designed for industrial applications involving low- to high-viscosity liquids moving at very low flow rates. The product is constructed with 316 stainless-steel case and tungsten carbide shafts, and is available in 250, 1,000, 6,000, and 10,000 psi models.

Humidifiers using Nafion(R) tubing are for fuel cell applications where high humidity is desired. These two models can completely saturate gases with water, from small flows of a few hundred milliliters to thousands of liters per minute. Water can be recovered from exhaust gases and returned to the process, or liquid water can serve as the source of the humidity.
