Plug and Play Hose System Quickly Connects Hose Fittings and Adapters

The Plug and Play Hosesystem consists of Parflex 515Hhose and the Parker RA (Rapid Assembly) quick connecting hose fittings andadapters. Parflex 515H hose is a light weight, fiber reinforced, low pressurethermoplastic hose that has great kink resistance. Typically, a A.25 inch 515Hhose has a 20 percent smaller diameter than a standard 100R1 hose and a 25percent tighter bend radius. It is also 5 times lighter than comparable hoses.

The brass RA quick connect fittings offer plug andplay convenience in a very compact, anti-corrosive and economical system. Theconnector design is simple, durable and easy to install, eliminating the needfor wrenches or other tools. However, the RA series fittings are not live swivels and care should betaken to insure that relative movement between the adapter and the hose fittingis eliminated. Sealing is achieved through the use of petroleumand synthetic hydraulic oil resistant elastomeric o-rings.

Parflex 515H hose is usefulfor routing through tight spaces while maintaining the flexibility of a morerobust hose and is often used in pilot lines or joy stick applications wheremultiple hoses are required to fit into a tight space. Sizes range from 3/16I.D. up to A.50 inch I.D. in a single or multi-line assembly.
