MPC Configurator with Enhanced Tools

Featuring 3-D computer aided design (CAD) output,live flow evaluation and integrated flow data, the updated Swagelok develops complete process analyzerand sample-handling systems. The program provides engineers with an interactivetool to build and assemble ANSI/ISA 76.00.02-compliant miniature modular designsprior to the purchase process.

The configuratorfeatures integrated flow data such as flow coefficient (C_v), volumetric flow rate and volume for a wide varietyof fluids. Then, users can simulate valve actuation to see how the flow reacts.Flow streams are color-coded for easy evaluation. Component selection features Swagelok MPC components andthe ability to use custom components when creating a system.

From the configurator,engineers can create several types of reports to support their design. Thesoftware generates 2-D design schematics (P&ID view exportable throughAutoCADA(R) 2010), a 3-D real view (exportable to SolidWorks), and/or a bill ofmaterials (BOM) for purchasing. A project report feature also provides a BOMand assembly diagrams package. All outputs can be saved to the user's localmachine.

Thefull MPC Configurator is available to customers in two ways: as an executableprogram download or as a CD installation (MS-21-38) through anauthorized sales and service center.
