The ultra-compact version of the Type 2000 Y-pattern valve system permits greater flows at lower head loss, according to the company. Total size and weight is reduced up to 30% at 5.5 x 4.5 x 2 inches for space savings, and the "near full bore" opening allows for higher flows than globe valves. Available in either bronze or stainless steel, these valves are ideal for water treatment, semiconductor, and industrial process applications.

Available in capacities from 1 quart to 18 gallons, a hydraulic compensator maintains hydraulic fluid quality in reservoirs. The compensator handles variations in volume that occur in hydraulic circuits due to heat or operational states. The unit can be operated continuously at temperatures from -4 to 248F. The compensator is not mechanically dependent upon the circuit and may be mounted at any angle, as well as inside or outside of the reservoir.
Flare-ended tubing allows more room for attachments, such as barbed fittings, which permits better flow in the tube. The tubing can also be heat-formed with bends and curves to ease installation around equipment eliminating kinks and awkward bends. Materials of construction, such as PVC, polyurethane, and fluoropolymers, reportedly provide chemical and fuel resistance, durability, clarity for visual contact with the flow, and wear resistance. Nylon and polyethylene permit color designs for coding purposes.

Inert, solenoid-operated instrument valves can be specified with Radel (R-5100) or PEEK bodies with Viton or EPDM elastomers. Produced in both 2- and 3-way configurations, the SV27 Series valve is 2.5 inches high and is offered in 12 or 24V dc and either 2.5 or 1.5W. As an option to the freestanding configuration, the valve can be requested in surface-mounted manifold or cartridge configurations.

Liquid-to-air, copper fin-and-tube heat exchangers can dissipate 330W for every 1C difference between water and air entering the device. The Model 727 measures approximately 24 x 24 x 2.6 inches and has silver brazed joints for added strength. A lightweight and durable aluminum fan shroud for mounting four fans is an optional component. Typical applications include cooling of lasers, electronic cabinets, and industrial furnaces.

Rotary vane, oil-recirculating vacuum pumps come in three models in sizes from 4.2 to 1,130 cfm displacement. The RC model functions up to 15 torr, the RB model up to 2 torr, and the RA model up to 0.5 torr. All models require no water and have an oil-mist eliminator for 99.9% oil-free exhaust. No special oil is required.

Non-metallic expansion joints are suited for piping systems found in such applications as chemical, wastewater, power, paper/pulp, marine, mining, and HVAC. The joints utilize single or multiple wide flowing arches to supply good all-directional movement and eliminate sediment buildup. Sizes range from 10 to 96 inches ID, but custom sizes can be engineered. Standard construction provides up to 250F continuous service, with higher temperatures available following Kevlar reinforcement.

This Valve Engine provides fluid temperature control in a single unit, and comes in direct- and reverse-acting models. In the direct Valve Engine, a thermal actuator modulates the valve open when fluid temperature rises above an acceptable level, discharging the warmer liquid. As outlet temperature falls slightly, the valve modulates toward the closed position.

Developed for hydraulic and pneumatic systems, Series PP7 pressure switches reportedly offer the benefits of a solid-state pressure switch in a low-cost configuration. The switches provide increased reliability over mechanical drives since they have no moving parts, use a sensing element with high accuracy and repeatability, and are resistant to pressure surges. The units are packaged in a stainless-steel housing, operate from an input voltage of 9.6 to 30V dc, and have a current rating of 250 mA.

The A100 IPUP (integrated point of use) dry roughing pump for semiconductor applications delivers 100 m3 /hr pumping rate, and is designed for integration into the platform of most semiconductor process systems. By moving the roughing pump from a remote location to the immediate proximity of the tool, a physically smaller, less expensive, more efficient pump can be used. The A100 product range includes a load lock, process, and an ion-implanter version.

ISO and DIN sanitary connections on the MK95, MK96, MK97, and MK98 valves eliminate the need for special adapters to convert from traditional Tri-Clamp(TM) end connections. Since the inside diameter of many of the ISO/DIN connections is identical, the company can put a larger or smaller size connection on the valve than is generally available. This could be an advantage in applications where a DN25 valve is specified when the flow conditions can be met with a Cv/Kv that is available in a lower-cost DN20 valve that still meets DN25 end connections.

Corzan(R) postchlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) pipe is available in 14- and 16-inch diameters, in both schedule 40 and 80 piping systems. This 14- and 16-inch diameter CPVC piping is said to meet the need for pipe capable of transferring large volumes of high-temperature and/or corrosive materials in the pulp and paper, chemical processing, and chlor alkalai industries.

This proportional flow control valve is said to be suited for both automotive and mobile hydraulic applications requiring a compact design. The directional control of the downstream precision volumetric flows is maintained within milliseconds to balance out the levels in suspension struts, allowing the vehicle body to remain stable.

Air hydraulic pumps are designed to provide trouble-free performance and durability for a wide variety of workholding applications. The 10 models in the Turbo II Series lineup are engineered with expanded operating ranges for more application versatility. Turbo II will maintain hydraulic pressure to 5,000 psi and will achieve maximum pressure with as little as 75 psi. Plus, a patented air saver piston reportedly reduces air pressure to 12 SCFM at 75 psi, lowering operating costs.

Air-operated shut-off valves measure .50 inch with no wetted metals or external fasteners for high-purity or corrosive environments. These are "balanced" compact valves, meaning the valve outlet pressure, or back pressure, can be as high as the inlet pressure without affecting performance. They are designed for liquid service and range from full vacuum to pressures up to 150 psi. Because the valves are assembled by threading the body and air chamber together, no fasteners or metals are exposed to the atmosphere.

Heavy-duty industrial pumps for chip board manufacturing are seal-less pumps that provide accurate dosing of phenyl resins and waxes to chip board blenders at pressures up to 2,500 psi and flow to 37 gpm. These rugged pumps handle viscous products, develop high pressures, and can reportedly run dry without damage. The pumps are available in a variety of construction materials based on the specific requirements of a given chip board manufacturing application.
