LNP has added relatively lightweight members to its line of high-specific-gravity thermoplastics. The company's Thermocomp HSG line, which in the past covered a specific gravity range from 5.0 to 10.0, now includes grades in the 2.0 to 5.0 specific-gravity range. These new materials consist of a combination of resins and high-density fillers. Thermocomp HSG compounds target applications that require a high-quality look and feel -for example, plumbing fixtures and toys.
