The company offers specialized performance characteristics, using a highly-controlled hardening and tempering process to selectively modify the internal steel structure. The pre-tempered material is made for parts, wear plates, spring washers and brackets. Distortion, irregular and out-of-spec parts are cut down by using pre-tempering, which has no secondary heat treating, a common cause of these problems. The company uses an advanced, computer-controlled process to produce the material uniformly, consistently and with lot-to-lot repeatability.
