Aerospace locknuts

With non-metallic inserts

Offered in a variety of configurations, the company's line of ESNA(R) aerospace locknuts feature non-metallic inserts. A red Nylon is used as the locknut insert material for applications up to 250F; VESPEL(R) insert material may be used in applications up to 500F. Wrenchable nuts are available in hex and double hex styles. Anchor nuts may be ordered in fixed and floating styles. Barrel nuts are offered in a range of sizes, and shank nuts are available in sizes from #8 through 3/8-inch diameters. SPS Technologieshttp://rbi.ims.ca/3850-577

Axis damper

Spring-loaded

The company's axis damper is a spring-loaded damper that operates on a pivot/hinged system, rather than a rotary gear system. A separate molded rack system and tension spring is not required because they are built into the mechanics of the product. This is designed to give the product a pre-load to aid in opening the panel or door, reducing cost on the chassis design and in the door panel, according to the company. Applications include consumer electronics. Richcohttp://rbi.ims.ca/3850-578

Fasteners

High-strength, light weight

Manufactured from a new titanium alloy, the AERLITE(TM) 200 fasteners are designed to provide high strength and toughness, along with the light weight typically associated with titanium. The products feature a reported tensile strength of 200 ksi and a shear strength of 108 ksi. SPS Technologieshttp://rbi.ims.ca/3850-579

Adhesive

Moisture resistant

TRA-BOND 789-3T3N1 epoxy adhesive is a thixotropic version of the company's 789-3. It is reportedly tough and moisture-resistant, and is designed for side mount staking of components and any applications where resistance to wicking and flow is important. It has a high electrical resistance and glass transition temperature, according to the company, and it will work well on hard-to-bond substrates, such as nickel, gold, and copper. Twist Lock with Label

For quick cable identification

The TL-F1 series compliments Richco's line of twist lock clamps and offers a simple solution for cable identification. The twist lock feature enables the it to be fastened securely and released by hand. Self-adhesive warning labels can be easily affixed or written on with a marker pen. The TL-F1 series comes standard in Nylon 6/6 V-2 material. Richcohttp://rbi.ims.ca/3850-149

Injection-molded fasteners

For the hook and loop industry

Inter-Mold Hook technology (IMH) is designed to eliminate the material and labor costs of attaching hook material to plastic. It reportedly allows one-step injection molding of hook fasteners directly into plastic parts. Industrial applications include automotive, aviation, and healthcare industries. Additional benefits, according to the company, include the elimination of material costs and improved reliability and aesthetics. The product is green process and environmentally friendly. Set-screw collars

Multiple materials

The company's special set-screw collars are designed to incorporate a variety of special design requirements and be machined from a range of materials. They can incorporate multiple screws, face holes for springs and components, grooves for O-rings and seals, odd sizes, keyways, flats, and custom finishes. They can also reportedly be machined from stainless steel, brass, bronze, steel, aluminum, copper, Hastelloy(R) , exotic alloys, and engineering plastics. Drive system

High torque, low maintenance

The MORTORQ(R) drive system is engineered to provide a solution to the problem of poor torque transfer. Its unique shape reportedly provides full contact of the driver to the entire recess in the screw or bolt, resulting in high torque capability while minimizing the risk of damage to the fastener recess. According to the company, the depth of the fastener recess is reduced, allowing increased torque transfer in 100 degrees and 130 degrees flush head fasteners, as well as other bolts and screws used in shear applications. Low-level casters

Two new lines

The company has introduced two different lines of low-level casters. The first line, composed of three casters, has an overall height of 3.26 inches that reportedly provides optimum capacity at minimum height for use on mainframe computers. All three feature roller wheel bearings. The second line of casters is designed to move heavy loads while minimizing equipment height. This line is composed of 14 casters, which have wheel diameters that range from 15/8 to 3 inches. W.T. Heighthttp://rbi.ims.ca/3850-584

Hanking cable tie

For securing cable bundles

The hanking cable tie series from Richco provides excellent retention for managing and securing cable bundles. Beaded along its length and installed by threading the beaded length through the first hole, two beads are locked in place by hand, and the remainder of the tie is passed through the last hole for extra security. And, since the installation process can be re-versed, the tie is reusable. Manufactured from a specially formulated Polyethylene, the tie has a degree of elasticity, preventing scratching of cable bundles. Richcohttp://rbi.ims.ca/3850-585
