International Women in Engineering Day (INWED) was founded by the Women's Engineering Society in the United Kingdom. INWED was first celebrated in 2014 to raise awareness about the achievements of women in engineering, encouraging more girls and women to pursue careers in the field, and promoting diversity and inclusivity in the engineering profession.
We have gathered comments from women in engineering. Some of the comments were provided by the Women’s Engineering Society, while others were provided by the US-based Society of Women Engineers.
