The MPM-08MB Series

MicroPower Direct's MPM-08MB series is a family of single and dual output 8W ac/dcpower supplies. These high performance modules include a wide ac input, fullsafety approvals, robust filtering and a miniature PCB mount package. Eightstandard models operate from an input of 90 to 305V ac, providing tightlyregulated outputs of 3.3, 5, 9, 12, 15, 24, +5/+3.3, or +12/+5V dc. Standardfeatures include filtering to EN55022 Class B, input/output isolation of 3,000Vac and tight line/load regulation. All models are protected for over load, overvoltage and short circuit faults. The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) of the MPM-08MB series is greater than 350khours.

The MPM-08MB has a Class II input(IEC61140). This means it can be used without an earth ground connection.All models are approved to EN 60950. The series is certified to CE and is RoHScompliant. The MPM-08MB seriesis packaged in a 1.44 x 1.06 x 1.04 inch PCB mount package. Each model is ratedfor operation over the operating temperature range of -40 to +70C (ambient). TheMPM-08 Mbyte series is a usefulsolution for a variety of applications requiring high performance features anda small PCB footprint. Applications would include industrial automationsystems, machine/process control equipment and telecommunications/dataprocessing systems. With its Class II input, the MPM-08MB series is an option for remote or portable equipmentwhere a reliable ground is often not available.
