Stackpole's RNCS Low Cost Tantalum Nitride Replacement Solution

Stackpole Electronics Inc's RNCSSeries is a passivated Nichrome thin film precision chip resistor series. Theintermediate silicon-based passivation provides an impervious barrier tomoisture, which eliminates the potential for moisture corrosion that can causestandard Nichrome elements to degrade and eventually open.

The RNCS Series is available in sizes ranging from 0402 to 2512,in tolerances down to 0.1 percent and TCR's as low as 15 ppm. Available resistance valuesvary with size and tolerance and range from 10 ohms to 1Meg.

The RNCSSeries is an option for metering and instrumentation, controls, and remotemonitoring for industrial and commercial applications, energy monitoring andcontrol, telecom infrastructure, non-established reliability aerospace, RF andIF attenuators, fuel cell systems and assemblies, and biomedicalinstrumentation and control.
