Sealed USB Connectors

Conec's USB connector is compliant with USB2.0 specifications for harsh environments. Conec'swater-resistant USB products with robust internal components housed in blackplastic and nickel-plated zinc die-cast with a bayonet locking terminationrated to IEC 61076-3-106 specifications. The interface meets IP67 requirementswhen a mating connector is inserted or when covered with a secured protectivecap and ensure a continuously secure dust and weatherproof connection inaddition to being sealed for a watertight connection. A USB 2.0 plug set isavailable for the cable side and there are also preassembled patch cordsavailable in various IP protection designs and lengths.

The USBconnector contacts are phosphor bronze and gold-plated with a contact resistancerated at a maximum 30m and insulation resistance of 500m. Current ratings are 1.5A maximum at 25C, andoperating temperature ranges from -40 to +85C. The product line includes avariety of panel-mounted receptacles, mating plugs, protective caps andpre-terminated jumper cables, including jackets suitable for outdoor use.
