PlacidIndustries' hollow shaft brakes mount easily. Magnetic particle brakes areideal for payout (unwind) tension control, load simulation (for testing motorsand actuators), and soft stops. Slip torque is precise, smooth and silent. Torqueis proportional to dc input current and isindependent of slip RPM.

Hollow shaft brakes are available with torqueranges from 0.3 - 15 lb-inch to 75 lb-ft. Hollow shaft clutches torque ranges:0.4 - 14 lb-inch to 65 lb-ft.
