PartMiner launches environmental compliance tools for REACH, RoHS and Low Halogen Data

PartMiner Worldwide of Centennial, Colo. has added environmental compliance data to its CAPS database to help users reduce compliance risks.

In an announcement, PartMiner notes that CAPS now helps engineers effectively handle large volumes of data involved with RoHS, REACH and Halogen-free compliance to reduce operational costs and redundant work. PartMiner provides CAPS users in-depth information on more than 140 million parts including dynamic material content for REACH compliant, RoHS compliant and Halogen-free parts.

PartMiner’s CAPS products are web-based, environmental compliance solutions which are continually updated and maintained with relevant REACH and RoHS material declaration data from manufacturers. They contain full disclosure data on electronic and electro-mechanical components from manufacturers worldwide. For REACH compliance, PartMiner indicates the Candidate List Date and the CAS number of the SVHC if the part is non-compliant.
