Kistler USA Enhancements to Three-Component Triaxial Force Link Product Offerings

KistlerInstrument Corporation announced recent enhancements to itsindustry best-selling three-component triaxial force linkproduct range, to include expanded measurement capabilities from plus or minus 1.8k to plus or minus 33.7k lbf and other design enhancements for greater measurement flexibilityand performance.

Kistler three-component dynamic force links are compact, fullycalibrated and preloaded for reliable high-precision dynamic force measurementsin three orthogonal directions, in both tension and compression modes, across avariety of applications, regardless of the acting point of the force, with alarge useable frequency range. All dynamic sensing elements are housed in arust-free, sealed stainless steel housing.

General product line improvements to all Kistler three-componenttriaxial force link models include improved resolution and an expandedoperating temperature range of -40 to +248F, reduced hysteresis, an optionalIP67 rated environmental sealing and plug connection via highly robust V3multi-pole connector, which replaces the legacy three 10-32 neg. connection.The newer versions are drop-in replacements for legacy models, and use the samecable type as those with Types 93x7C already introduced. Specific enhancementsto the Kistler Type 9327C triaxial quartz force link include a more rigidconstruction and expanded measurement range of plus or minus 0.8k lbf across the x and yaxes (previously plus or minus 0.6k lbf) plus or minus 1.8k lbf across the z-axis (previously plus or minus 1.1k lbf).
