Jupiter-F2 GPS Module for OEM Applications

Navman Wireless OEM Solutions saysits Jupiter-F2(J-F2) GPS module for OEM applications maintains continuous hot-startperformance (position fix in less than one sec), guaranteeing the conditionthrough the SiRFaware mode that draws as little as 50-500AmuA or through the freeA-GPS with 3-day ephemeris predictions.

The J-F2 can navigate to -160dBm and track to-163dBm, providing higher coverage, accuracy and availability compared toearlier Jupiter models. The ultra-low power consumption and high sensitivity ofNavman Wireless' Jupiter-F2 with SiRFstarIV architecture is for vehicle, objectand personal positioning products. SiRFstarIV's sensory interface features deadreckoning, smart sensor support and can remove up to eight in-band jammers upto 80 dB-Hz prior to correlation.

The Jupiter-F2 supports satellite-based augmentationsystems including WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS and GAGAN. The GPS module combines the SiRFstarIV GSD4e GPSengine, TCXO, LDO, SAW filter, RTC and Memory.

The Jupiter-F2 platform creates custom buildsfor automotive and other OEM applications and is now available in fullproduction with integrated Flash Memory.
