Fox Application Specific XpressO Oscillators Now Optimized for Fibre Channel Configurations

Fox's FibreChannel specific XO oscillators offer a frequency stability of A plus or minus 50 ppm withtighter stabilities available upon request and are available in 106.25, 159.375and 212.50 MHz models. HCMOS and LVPECL outputs are available on the 106.25 MHzmodel, LVPECL for the 159.375 MHz model, while LVPECL and LVDS outputs areavailable on the 212.50 MHz models. XpressO oscillators offer a tri-stateenable/disable feature, allowing the user to turn the output on and off. Outputenable/disable time is less than 100 nS.

Each XpressO crystal oscillator model features an operatingtemperature range of -40 to +85C and a storage temperature range of -55 to +125C.At 12 kHz to 20 MHz, typical phase jitter is 0.75 pS RMS for the 106.25 MHz and159.375 MHz and 0.86 pS RMS for 212.50 MHz. Start up time is 10 mS. Thenew XpressO oscillators feature gold over nickel termination finish.

The 3.3 VXpressO line, the Fibre Channel oscillators are off-the-shelf, pre-configuredto precise application-specific requirements in an industry standard 7 x 5 mmpackage.
