Four Conduit Elbows in One

T&BFittings UniversalConduit Elbow functions as four elbows in one, resulting in the reduction ofstock parts. The Universal Conduit Elbow replaces LL, LR, LB and C conduitbodies for most applications. Pulling wire is easier because the radius ofthe Universal Conduit Elbow is the same as the conduit itself, which enablesfiber optic cable to be run through a A.75 inch system instead of a two inchsystem required for other conduit elbows.

TheT&B FittingsUniversal Conduit Elbow's wire-fill rating is 40 percent, which is the same asconduit, and increases the amount of wire that can be run through smallerfittings. For example, the recommended fill rate for a standard A.75-inchconduit run is 40 percent (five #6 wires or equivalent). If a normal elbowis used in the run, code requires that theconduit diameter must be increased to 1A.50 inches to accommodate a tighter bendradius and increased pulling tension. The Universal Conduit Elbow's designenables an easy negotiation of angles that eliminates the need for sharp, tightand sometimes limiting bends in the conduit run, which allows for the elbow toremain in the A.75-inch system.

Otherfeatures include BlueKote four-layer protection that provides both internal andexternal corrosion resistance. The Universal Conduit Elbow is UL Listed asan electrical box, which allows splices inside of it. Its angled coverport uses standard covers and contributes to easier wire pulling.
