Fibre Channel XpressO Oscillators

Digi-KeyCorp. has stock on FoxElectronics' new line of application-specificXpressO oscillators for Fibre Channel configurations.

The Fibre Channel oscillators are pre-configured to preciseapplication-specific requirements in a 7 x 5 mm package. The ApplicationSpecific XpressO line combines Fox Electronics' XpressO technology with thecharacteristics required to meet the needs of specific Fibre Channelapplications without the wait associated with custom products. XpressOtechnology offers fast delivery of low jitter, small package size and multiplefrequency and output options. Designed and developed by Fox Electronics,XpressO oscillators utilize a family of proprietary application-specificintegrated circuits (ASICs) with a key focus on noise reduction.
 
These oscillators offer a frequency stability of ±50 ppm and are available in106.25, 159.375 and 212.50 MHz models. HCMOS and LVPECL outputs are availableon the 106.25 MHz model, LVPECL for the 159.375 MHz model, while LVPECL andLVDS outputs are available on the 212.50 MHz models. The XpressO oscillatorsoffer a tri-state enable/disable feature, allowing the user to turn the outputon and off. Output enable/disable time is less than 100 nS.
 
Each XpressOcrystal oscillator model features an operating temperature range of -40 to+85C and a storage temperature range of -55 to +125C. At 12 to 20 MHz, typicalphase jitter is 0.75 pS RMS for the 106.25 MHz and 159.375 MHz and 0.86 pS RMSfor 212.50 MHz. Start up time is 10 mS. The new XpressO oscillatorsfeature gold over nickel termination finish.
