PREMO's FEDC Seriesis available with ratings from 25 to 1500A dc, without terminals up to 150A dcand screw connections up to 1500A dc. Maximum operational voltage is 1200V dc.Moreover, they are available without filter capacitors to ground. The PREMOFEDC dc EMC filter meets EN60939, UL1283 EMC requirements and RoHS directive.Their main applications are PV installations, and they can also be used inapplications where primary energy source is dc, such as fuel cells andbatteries.
Installed between the PVinverter and the solar panel, dc filters help to meet EMC directives ingrip-connected installations. FEDC Series have been designed to reduceconducted emissions towards the solar panel, to reduce EMI radiations from thesolar panel, allowing a longer solar panel lifetime.
These dc filters in PVinstallations help increase solar panel reliability and increase immunity inthe inverter control phase, avoiding any electromagnetic interferencemissfunction.
