Digi-Key Corp. Announces Stock on Cirrus Logic CS1500 and CS1600 High Performance PFC Controllers

Electronic components distributor Digi-Key Corp.announced it has stock on CirrusLogic's CS1500 and CS1600 high-performance, variable frequencydiscontinuous mode, active digital PFC controllers.

The CS1500 and CS1600 are high-performance, variable frequency discontinuousmode, active digital power factor correction (PFC) controllers. These devicesfeature Cirrus Logic's EXL Core^TM architecture that brings digital energycontrol innovation, elevating performance and solving system challenges inpower supplies used for notebook adapters, digital televisions, and PCs. Theunique architecture of the CS1500 and CS1600 enables reduced sized EMI filtersand eliminates the need for numerous passive components, thus delivering thelowest PFC system costs available.

Applications for the CS1500 include digital TVs, notebook adapters, and PCpower supplies. Applications for the CS1600 include fluorescent ballasts andLED ballasts.
